ABOUT FINE ALPACAS

Fine Alpacas is based in the English Midlands near Warwick where Peter and Maxine Watts run a farm dedicated to the breeding of top class alpacas.
Starting out in the late 90’s meant a steep learning curve and it was quite obvious to Peter and Maxine that if you want the best, then you must breed with the best.

SOMETHING ABOUT US!

Peter and Maxine Watts have diverse backgrounds, but both share the same interests - the outdoor life and animals.
Raising Alpacas came as quite a change for Peter, whose background consists of horticulture - working in garden centres, as well as being a computer software trainer.
For Maxine, she has been involved in outdoor leisure all her working life, ranging from ski equipment to clothing through to walking, this is all connected to her retail business, LOCKWOODS OUTDOOR in Leamington spa, England. Peter is currently involved with the Online shop at Lockwoods.
Maxine specialises in training Alpacas. She has been involved in the past with the British Alpaca Society organising the Alpaca show circuit.
